See the day's leaders before they run.
A live board of your watchlist that surfaces the names strongest against the market — ranked by relative strength, checked against premarket and prior-day levels, with a daily 8EMA bias on each. The 8EMA pullback tagger marks the entry on your chart.
Relative strength, ranked
Every name scored against SPY (or your own benchmark) so the true leaders and laggards sort themselves out — brightest cell is the strongest.
Levels that matter, watched
Each symbol checked against its premarket high/low and prior-day high/low, so you see who's reclaiming or losing the levels that set the day's tone.
Daily 8EMA bias
A LONG / SHORT bias per name off the daily 8EMA, so you're trading momentum names in the direction of their trend, not against it.
The tagger marks the pullback
On your chart, the 8EMA tagger drops a tag when a momentum name pulls back to its 8EMA — with SPY alignment and volume shown as a grade.

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| The 12 symbols | Your watchlist — any stocks or ETFs on TradingView. |
| Relative-strength benchmark | SPY by default. Swap it for QQQ, IWM, or a sector ETF to measure strength against what you actually trade. |
| Daily bias EMA length | The EMA the LONG/SHORT bias reads from (default 8). |
| Table position | Move the board to any corner. |
| Alert toggle | Fire a phone alert when a name flips to full READY. |
On the 8EMA tagger you also control: the entry EMA length, tap tolerance, the SPY index-lead symbol and its EMA, the VIX symbol and timeframe for the volatility bias, the premarket-gate, and minimum pullback depth.
Get the setup on your phone
Arm the alert once and TradingView pushes you a notification the instant a name on your list flips to full READY — bias, levels and relative strength all lining up at once. You catch the momentum name turning without babysitting the board.
What triggers it
A name reaching LONG READY (or SHORT READY) — reclaiming the levels in the direction of its daily 8EMA bias, with the relative-strength check agreeing. The same bright cell you see on the board.
One alert, your whole list
A single alert on the screener watches every symbol you've loaded. Change your watchlist and it just follows.
Setting it up (about a minute):
| 1 | Add the screener to a chart on your confirmation timeframe (e.g. 15-minute). |
| 2 | Click the alarm-clock Alert icon at the top of TradingView. |
| 3 | Set the condition to the momentum screener and "Any alert() function call." |
| 4 | Turn on Push, Popup, or Email under Notifications. |
| 5 | Create. The message names the ticker and whether it flipped LONG or SHORT READY. |
Push notifications require the free TradingView mobile app, signed in to the same account. The alert fires on the bar close of your chart's timeframe, so you get the confirmed flip — not every tick across a level.
Arming an alert requires real-time data for the symbols loaded. NASDAQ symbols work on any TradingView plan; NYSE and some other exchanges may need TradingView's real-time data add-on for that exchange. The board still displays every symbol live regardless.
Reading the board
- READY — LONG ✦ / SHORT ✦
- Bright cell: the name has aligned on all fronts — bias, levels and relative strength agree. Dim long/short is a partial.
- RS
- Relative strength vs your benchmark. Positive = outperforming the market, negative = lagging. The ranking colours the strongest brightest.
- Bias ▲ / ▼
- Price above or below its daily 8EMA — the trend direction for that name.
- PDH/PDL · PMH/PML
- Whether price is reclaiming (↑) or losing (↓) the prior-day and premarket high/low, or sitting inside (· in).
- The SPY dot on a tag
- Green = the index is with your trade on the same timeframe; red = it's against you. On a short, green means SPY is weak.
